Igor Popovic M.D. Physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, is assistant Director of medical affairs in Specialized  Hospital for rehabilitation and orthopedic prosthetics in Belgrade, Serbia  and  professor in High Medical College of Professional Studies in Belgrade.  He graduated from Faculty of medicine University of Belgrade, Serbia in 1996. and he finished his specialized training in Physical therapy and rehabilitation in 2002. From 1998. he warked in Specialized  Hospital is a modern facility for prosthetic and orthotic rehabilitation. His main research interest is in the closed-loop control of movements and assistive systems, including prosthesis control, sensory feedback, functional electrical stimulation, and rehabilitation robotics.
